Beer Battered Onion Rings Recipe
* 1 1/2 cup flour
* 1 teaspoon salt
* 1 1/2 cup beer
* 3 large onions, cut in 1/2" slices
* Hot salad oil
* Salt and pepper, to taste
Directions:
1. Combine flour and salt
2. Stir in beer, and beat until smooth.
3. Let batter stand 3 hours.
4. Separate onion slices into rings.
5. Dip into batter
6. Fry in 2" of hot salad oil (375F) until golden
brown on both sides (about 3-5 minutes).
7. Sprinkle with salt & pepper.
8. Place in a 200F oven until ready to serve.
